What is the value of the Southeast Asia markets for the incoming in your country? Which are considered as the most important markets?

With the close proximity to Southeast Asia, it only makes sense for us to place great value to this highly potential market. Vietnam, Indonesia and Philippines are considered high priority markets for us.

What is the importance of Vietnam as outbound market? What is your expectations from the Vietnamese market?

Vietnam is a very important and exciting outbound market for us due to its fast growing middle class. We would like to see a growth of 20-30% more Vietnamese guests this year through events and marketing.

What are you planning to present to the Vietnamese travel agents for their customers?

We would like to educate them about Maldives, which many have misconception that it is an expensive place to go to. We have concocted different simple affordable packages that encompasses accommodation and excursion but with some free time for their own.
